Sydney BC and Patrica Bay Area

The Bay's shoreline has a walkway which seems to go on for quite a distance. Along the way are scattered lots of metal sculptures some of which have a quirky look about them.

Mount Baker is a snow covered mountain which shows up in the background.

They call those long skinny fish "pipe fish".

Sometimes one has to look very closely if they want to see the sea creatures.
All of the specimen were taken from the Bay out front and they will be returned to bay when they get too big for their tanks.

In the old days there was a flourishing railway service running between Victoria and Sydney but, it was closed and taken up about 1919.

 More interesting art work.

Above the stores and businesses there are condominiums for rent by people who just want to take in the scenery and moderate climate.

Hedges of holly can be found almost anywhere.
The beaches are strewn with drift wood.

People catch King Crab from the long wharf which juts out into the bay.

Telescopic view of islands across the bay

The BC Aviation museum is located near by.
