Now, across the country, all fueling stations sell ethanol as well as traditional gasoline, “which is very good for the consumer,” says Dr. Marcos Jank, a professor of economics at the University of Sao Paulo. Not only is ethanol cheaper than gasoline, it’s better for the environment, and it has a higher octane. The fueling station of the future would sell multiple fuels, not just gasoline.
